I floated around SDF today (my handle there is rickygee), I hadn't been there in awhile :(
I checked my email on there and read the bboard for a bit. Shoutout
SDF, they are the best. The BOOKS board is fun, and the NETBSD one as well. I was
looking to fire up some usenet, but it seemed like news.sdf.org was down(?)
I improved my description of my little homelab at ("Eric's Datacenter")
I briefly enabled fingerd via inetd
on this server, but then having read about a pernicious exploit of
last year, I quickly disabled :(

SDF seems to also have a fingerd running, but it doesn't seem to report .plan or .project files, just shows the user's name. For example my username (rickygee) at SDF shows this:
